chapter 1 summary:
in chapter 1 we are introduced to the characters, and to the animal farm. old major has a vision and he expresses it with the other animals on the farm. old major wants to say to the other animals how they have the power to revolt and the power to run the farm themselves. at the end of the chapter, old major dies.
